First day of school

Well, my big man started Pre-K today and seems to have really liked it. At least he says he's excited to go back tomorrow. When I asked him what he did, he said "Learned, learned, learned. Stuff, stuff, stuff." Not sure he's my son because I would have been giving details. He kind of sounded like his dad when he said it. :)

It was hard for me to drop him off not because I couldn't believe he was going to school every day now. It was more because he seemed much older than some of the other kids. He is definitely the oldest in his class since we "held him back". It was all I could do to not pull him out of there and take him to our elementary school. I know we are making the right decision. I just think today was the hardest day of our decision for me. I already feel fine about it. It was just a passing thought this morning. I never knew how much you would question yourself as a parent.

Landon insisted on getting a picture of his backpack. Noah insisted on wearing his backpack.

Noah just wanted to be like his big brother. Landon was so good to him. I was proud.

I think you'll be glad with your decision to hold him back. Vicky & Steph are both "older" kids in school and it's worked out well for both of them to have a little bit more maturity.
